Directions
From Dorrington, Travel four miles south to Sourgrass/Board's Crossing Road (Forest Road 5N02). Turn south on the Board's Crossing Road and follow a paved road all the way to the river; cross the river, continue uphill and watch for a dirt road on the right, just before the junction with Forest Road 5N14. Follow this dirt road as it switchbacks down to the river. Continue past the private residences until you reach the campground.
Location Information
Board's Crossing Campground is a primitive campground, located approximately 50 yards from the south bank of the North Fork Stanislaus River, in a of mature ponderosa pine and black oak forest at 3,800 feet. The campground is just downstream from the small summer recreational community of Board's Crossing; please respect private property while recreating in this area. Fishing on the Norh Fork of the Stanislaus River is available nearby. Hunting in late season also permitted.

The Campground has limited sites available, pit toilets, five tables, fire rings and no potable water. Emergency medical services are available at the Arnold Medical Clinic, in the Meadowmont Shopping Center in Arnold. Gas, groceries, etc. are also available in Arnold and Camp Connell.
