From Collbran, Drive south on County Road 59, which becomes Forest Road 121 once it reaches the Grand Mesa, for approximately 11 miles to Forest Road 257. Turn Right on to 257 and follow it approximately five miles to the campground.
Location Information
Cottonwood Lake Campground lies in the northern section of the Grand Mesa on the eastern shore of Cottonwood Lake (number 1). The site includes 42 units, some of which can accommodate vehicles up to 30 feet in length. Cottonwood Lake Campground lies at 10,000 feet in elevation and provides access to hiking, boating and fishing.
