Directions
From Lake City, Drive south on Highway 149 to Forest Developed Road 788. Turn left on 788 and travel past the entrance to Deer Lakes and Hidden Valley Campground. Spruce Campground will be the first developed site you reach after Hidden Valley Campground.
Location Information
Spruce Campground lies between the Powderhorn and La Garita Wilderness Areas. It has nine sites available for short trailers. This fee area is popular with hikers, backpackers, equestrians and anglers. Several miles of trail exist in both wilderness areas and the campground is located on Cebolla Creek.
