From Cedaredge, Drive 16 miles north on State Road 65 to Forest Road 121. Turn east (right) on to 121 and travel ten miles to Forest Road 126. Turn eastward (right) on 126 and drive three miles to the site.
Location Information
Weir & Johnson Campground lies on Forest Road 126 on the eastern portion of the Grand Mesa. The elevation of the site is 10,500 feet, making it the highest campground in the area. It lies between Sackett Reservoir and Weir & Johnson Reservoir and provides access to fishing, hiking and boating. There are 12 sites at the campground that can accommodate RVs up to 22 feet. Facilities also include toilets.
