From Cedaredge, Drive 16.25 miles north on State Road 65 to Forest Road 116. Turn west (left) on forest Road 116 and drive .5 miles to the campground.
Location Information
Little Bear Campground lies on the southern banks of Island Lake along Forest Road 116. It supports 36 sites, some of which accommodate RVs up to 22 feet in length. This site lies at an elevation of 10,200 feet with easy access to hiking, fishing and boating. It lies approximately one mile southwest of the Grand Mesa Visitor Center.
