Directions
From Beaver Creek, Travel 38 miles east on I-70 to Silverthorne. From Silverthorne go 14 miles north on Hwy. 9. Turn left onto FDR 30. Go 2 miles to the campground on the right (east) side of the road.
Location Information
McDonald Flats Campground is located north of Silverthorne, along the west side of Green Mountain Reservoir. The campground is first-come, first-serve. A campground fee and an additional vehicle fee is charged when water is available.

Facilities:

McDonald Flats has 13 campsites with a total capacity of 65 people. It has vault toilets, water, and garbage service.
