From Leadville, From the traffic light on Harrison Avenue drive north to Lake County Road 38 (Mountain View Drive). Make a left on to 38 and drive until you reach a "T" in the road. Turn right at the "T". Follow this road until you reach a large parking area. Turn left here and cross a set of railroad tracks. This road will bring you to Turquoise Lake Road (County Road 9). Turn right on 9 and follow it approximately 1.75 miles to Tabor Boat Ramp and Lady of the Lake Picnic Ground.
Location Information
Two boat ramps one on the northern side of the lake and one on the southern side provide access to Turquoise Lake. The waters are open to boaters and regulated by state boating laws. The lake is 1,650 surface acres with a maximum depth of 80-90'. The waters are generally cold so if you're planning to water ski bring a wet suit. Boating on Turquoise Lake is extremely popular in July and August.
