From Hayden, Travel 31 miles north on Forest Road 150 (Routt County Road 80), then 1 mile east on Forest Road 156.
Location Information
The Nipple Peak West Trailhead is located north of Hayden in Slater Park. It can be used to access trail #1147 which runs northeast around Nipple Peak, or links to trail #1156, leading to Hahns Peak Lake. Trail #1147 also links to trail #1192 to the northwest of Nipple Peak.
