Directions

From Poncha Springs, Drive south 5 miles on Highway 285 to County Road 200. Turn northwest on to County Road 200 and travel 11 miles to the trailhead.

Location Information
Marshall Pass Trailhead is located approximately 26 miles southwest of Poncha Springs. It is the site of one of the first transportation routes in Colorado. The Ute Indians used this pass before European settlers came to the region.

This site serves as a trailhead for the Continental Divide and the Colorado Trails and as an access point for visitors driving to the top of Marshall Pass (elevation 10,842 feet). The sanitation facilities consist of one vault toilet. The nearest public telephone is located in Poncha Springs.
