From Almont, Travel twenty five miles northeast on the Taylor River Road, Forest Road 742, to Texas Creek Road, Forest Service Road 755. Turn right on to Texas Creek Road and travel eight miles on Texas Creek Road to the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness boundary.
Location Information
Texas Creek Trailhead lies at the eastern end of Texas Creek Road, Forest Service Road 755. It provides access to the western Collegiate Peaks Wilderness, Texas Creek Valley and the Continental Divide. Stemming from the trailhead are Timberline Trail, the Continental Divide Trail and Texas Creek Trail.
