Directions
From Mi-Wok Ranger Station, Travel three miles east on Highway 108, take the Long Barn Exit to the right, and proceed approximately one mile and turn right on North Fork Road (3N01). Proceed approximately 20 miles on 3N01, cross Bourland Creek and turn left on 3N16, and proceed until it meets 3N20Y. Turn onto 3N20Y and proceed until reaching the parking area and trailhead.
Location Information
Box Springs Trailhead is a parking and access point to the Emigrant Wilderness Area. This 113,000 acre Wilderness contains approximately 185 miles of developed trails for hiking and backpacking opporunities. Primary attractions are numerous sub-alpine meadows and glacial lakes.
