Quick Facts
Elevation:  8,775 Feet
Reservation:  No
Directions
From Crested Butte, Travel six miles south on Highway 135 to Cement Creek Road, the turnoff for CB South. Turn left on to Cement Creek Road and travel two miles to the Farris Creek Trailhead. It will be on the left side of Cement Creek Road.
Location Information
Farris Creek Trailhead lies two miles north of Highway 135 on Cement Creek Road. The elevation of the site is 8,775 feet. Farris Creek Trail, that leads north from the trailhead, gains a significant amount of elevation as it leaves the trailhead. This makes the site a better start for hiking than biking or motorcycling.

Farris Creek Trailhead provides access to Farris Creek Trail, 409, Double Top Trail, 405, and Walrod Trail, 412. It's a good ending point for a loop ride that begins on Brush Creek and uses Double Top Trail for a descent. The terrain between Brush Creek and Cement Creek is heavily used by mountain bikers, hikers and motorcyclists so be courteous to other users.
