From Crested Butte, Travel six miles north of Crested Butte on Gothic Road to reach the Judd Falls Trailhead.
Location Information
Judd Falls Trailhead may also be referred to as the Copper Lake Trailhead. It lies immediately north of the Gothic townsite east of Gothic Road, Forest Service Road 317. The trailhead is located at approximately 9,600 feet. One mile to the east is the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness boundary. Many trails may be accessed from this site including Copper Creek Trail, Judd Falls Trail, Silvanite Mine Trail and Conundrum Hot Springs Trail.
