Wenatchee Confluence State Park covers 197 acres with 8,625 feet of freshwater shoreline. The park offers 51 full hookup sites, 8 standard sites, 111 picnic sites, a swim beach, two boat-launch ramps, two picnic shelters, five restrooms, one bathhouse, two tennis courts, two basketball courts, a multi-use play field, a pedestrian bridge,one shop, a trailer dump, a 2-mile paved trail, an 8,800 lineal-foot nature trail with 16 viewing stations, 3 kiosks, a volleyball site and a reservable group area.Activities at the park include camping, hiking, picnicking, fishing, boating, water skiing, sailing, windsurfing, swimming, tennis, basketball, volleyball, baseball, soccer, bicycling, bird watching, interpretive walks and Nordic skiing.
The climate of Washington varies within each region. The Cascades split the state and alter the weather patterns. The terrain east of the mountains, which includes Wenatchee Confluence State Park, receives approximately 12 inches of rainfall per year, generally much less than west of the mountains. Since the area east of the mountains is landlocked, temperatures in this region are lower during the winter months. Frequent winds coming down from the mountains also contribute to the low temperatures of eastern Washington.
