Pearrygin State Park is a 578-acre park with 8,000 feet of freshwater shoreline. A boat launch and boat handling floats are provided for the boater.

Camping facilities include 30 utility sites with a trailer dump, 53 standard sites; a group camp with six tent sites, pit toilet, solar pit toilet, comfort station, water, and parking facilities. There are two primitive camp sites without vehicle access.

The park also contains 30 picnic sites and a bathhouse.

Recreational activities include fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, picnicking, camping, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling.

Washington's climate varies with each region because the Cascade Mountains split the state and alter weather patterns. Pearrygin Lake State Park, located east of the mountains, receives significantly less rainfall than regions west of the mountains with an average annual precipitation of twelve inches.

Average summer temperatures are 94 degrees maximum and 50 degrees minimum. Because central Washington is landlocked and subject to winter winds, winter temperatures are much colder than those in western Washington.
