Mystery Bay State Park covers 10 acres, with 685 feet of saltwater shoreline on Mystery Bay. Boating facilities include seven mooring buoys, 683 feet of moorage float space, a boat launch ramp and a boat dock. Mystery Bay facilities are used year around by boating enthusiasts.

Other park facilities include 600 feet of road with parking for 25 vehicles, four picnic sites, a covered picnic shelter, a sewage pump out station, a port a-potty dump station and two vault toilets.

Facility use is first come, first served, with continuous moorage limited to three consecutive nights. Fees are charged year around. Call (360) 753-5771 for a fee update as all fees are subject to change.

Popular activities in the park are picnicking, boating, clam digging and crabbing.

The climate in this area is influenced by both the Olympic Mountains and the bodies of water that surround the Olympic Peninsula. It is generally a marine climate, mild and temperate, with the Pacific Ocean moderating temperatures throughout the year.

Winters are cool and cloudy with rain and some snow. Maximum winter temperatures are in the mid- to high 40s with minimum temperatures in the mid 30s. Summers are warm and relatively dry with maximum and minimum temperatures in the mid 70s and low 50s, respectively. This area averages 51 inches of precipitation per year.
