Fay-Bainbridge State Park covers 17 acres with 1,400 feet of saltwater frontage with three mooring buoys and a boat launch. Facility use is first come, first served, with continuous moorage limited to three consecutive nights. The park is part of the Marine Parks and Boat Moorage system. A special attraction of this park is the scenic view of Puget Sound, the Cascade Mountain range, and the Seattle metropolitan area from the camping and day use areas.
Park amenities include 36 campsites (26 with water hookups), a day use area with 80 tables, 20 stoves and four fire rings, three kitchen shelters, two comfort stations and playground equipment.
Camping, picnicking, beachcombing, hiking, fishing, scuba diving, boating, clamming, and crabbing are some of the activities enjoyed in the park.
The low rolling hills and sheltered inland salt water that make up the Puget Sound basin produce a mild, marine climate characterized by wintertime clouds, rain, and sometimes a light snow, but lots of summertime sunshine.
Maximum winter temperatures are in the mid- to high 40s with minimum temperatures in the mid 30s. Summers are warm with maximum and minimum temperatures in the mid 70s and low 50s, respectively. This area averages 51 inches of precipitation per year.
