Lake Casa Blanca International State Park consisting of 371 land acres and 1650 lake surface acres, is located on Lake Casa Blanca, east of Laredo in Webb County. The park was operated jointly by the City of Laredo and Webb County before it was acquired by the state in 1990 and opened in March 1991. The park is currently open daily from 7 a.m. - 10 p.m., with a busy season of April - August .

The Lake Casa Blanca International State Park offers visitors to the area a variety of land and water based activities. Moreover, wildlife species which have been noted in the park include jackrabbit, ground squirrel, cottontail, deer, and javelina. Birds commonly seen include killdeer, heron, egret, mockingbird, house sparrow, and grackles.

Park facilities include restrooms with showers; picnic sites; campsites with water; and campsites with water and electricity (30 amps). There are 5 day-use group facilities: 1) a group recreation hall (electricity, water, a stove, a refrigerator, air-conditioning/heating; indoor restrooms, picnic tables, and a barbecue pit); 2) Sports Group Picnic Pavilion (picnic tables, a large barbecue pit, water facility nearby, volleyball and basketball courts nearby, well-lighted outside); 3) a group picnic pavilion, also known as El Ranchito, (partially enclosed has water, electricity, outdoor restrooms, a volleyball court, a playground, a barbecue pit, and outdoor picnic tables; a portion of the facility is enclosed and has picnic tables near a fireplace; another section is screened for food preparation); 4) a group picnic pavilion, also known as Lago Vista, has picnic tables, electricity, water, a barbecue pit, and outdoor restrooms; 5) Rock Barn, also known as La Hacienda, is an enclosed building: with an outdoor slab, picnic tables, a barbecue pit, and a restroom facility nearby which is accessible to the disabled (no air-conditioning); and 6) a group picnic pavilion, known as Bird Aviary, (capacity 35) has 6 tables under a metal roof, electricity, water and a large BBQ pit with a playground and restrooms nearby. There is a Texas State Park Store; playgrounds; basketball, volleyball and tennis courts; a baseball field; an amphitheater (capacity 500-stone benches, no stage, no electricity); a boat ramp; 2 miles of mountain bike trails; and a trailer dump station.

Nearby attractions include the City of Laredo, a major Tourist gateway to Mexico, plus several shopping centers, and the Rio Grande Art Festival in April. A golf course operated by Webb County is available.

Lake Casa Blanca International State Park is located at an elevation of 325 feet. Temperatures within the park range from an average January low of 45 degrees and a July average high of 99 degrees.
