Memorial Lake State Park is surrounded by Fort Indiantown Gap military Reservation in East Hanover Township. The park consists of 230 acres in scenic Lebanon County near the southern base of Blue Mountain. It is located 30 minutes east of Harrisburg and is accessible from Interstate 81 at Exit 29. An 85-acre lake is the main focal point of the park. The park is open year-round and has facilities for picnicking, boating, fishing, hiking, ice skating, ice fishing and cross-country skiing. Sailboating and sailboarding are very popular on the lake.

An 85-acre lake is the main focal point of the park. The park is open year-round and has facilities for picnicking, boating, fishing, hiking, ice skating, ice fishing and cross-country skiing.
Non-powered boats and boats with electric motors are permitted on this peaceful lake. There are two boat launches with a courtesy dock located at the main boating area. Fifty-six overnight mooring spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Sailboating and sailboarding are very popular on the lake. Ice fishing is popular during the winter with the primary catches being muskellunge, northern pike, perch and catfish.
Picnicking and small hiking trails offer scenic views of the hardwood forests and pristine lake.
