The Rockefeller State Park Preserve is characterized by a variety of habitats, including wetlands, woodlands, meadows, fields and a lake. Lovely carriage paths offer an opportunity to hike, stroll, job, horseback ride or cross-country ski through beautiful terrain. This is popular park with bird watchers and nature photographers. Fishermen enjoy catching bass and bluegill. A visitor center offers historical exhibits. Rockefeller State Park Preserve offers a visitor center, a nature trail, fishing access, horseback riding, hiking and cross-country skiing. The Preserve is open year-round from 8 a.m. to dusk. Separate horse trailer parking available.
