Reservoir State Park is rich with outdoor recreation opportunities. Sights of the local area, numerous play fields, picnicking spots, fishing opportunities and much more are offered at this urban playground.

Reservoir State Park, Town of Niagara Route 31, is the most heavily used park in Niagara County. The park has four tennis courts, eight baseball diamonds, a basketball court and picnic facilities. It is also home to the largest softball complex in Niagara County. Other users include soccer players, runners, kite fliers, model airplane clubs and golfers. Winter visitors come to sled and cross-country ski. Part of the park is an overlook for the Robert Moses Plant Reservoir. Excellent fishing available in the Reservoir.

This heavily used park offers bike paths, hiking trails, fishing spots, a children's playground, picnic pavilions, softball fields, baseball fields, tennis courts, cross-country skiing opportunities and wonderful sledding hills. Snowmobiling is also permitted.

The Reservoir State Park area experiences average January temperatures above 22 degrees Fahrenheit (above -6 degrees Celsius). It is important to note that this area receives some of the heaviest snowfalls in the nation. Summer temperatures average around 72 degrees Fahrenheit (around 22 degrees Celsius). Precipitation in the region ranges from less than 36 inches to approximately 40 inches of rain and snowmelt.
