High Tor State Park is located along the ridges of South Mountain and used as a day use park for hiking, picnicking, swimming and viewing the sprawling Hudson River. The Long Path passes through the park just before the trail heads inland to the Catskills. High Tor State Park offers access to the Long Path. It also offers an opportunity to picnic and swim from June to September. The park is well-known for its wonderful scenery. No other amenities offered. Ice fishing is permitted.
