Cedar Point State Park, one of the oldest state parks in New York. The popular park overlooks the beautiful St. Lawrence River with sights of oceangoing freighters. Cedar Point State Park offers a swimming beach, a boat launch, boat rental, fishing, hunting, marina, picnic tables and shelters, playground, power boating, recreation programs, and campground with showers. The park is open from early May through Columbus Day. Waterfowl hunting is permitted in season.
