Visitors looking for a remote quiet park will enjoy Cedar Island State Park. Both picnicking and camping are offered at this park which encompasses approximately half of the island. A public boat launching facility is located in the town of Chippewa Bay and the park has a boat dock. Fishing opportunities are excellent. Waterfowl hunting is permitted in season.

Cedar Island State Park encompasses half of the island. The park is favored by people who appreciate quiet boating, fishing and beautiful scenery. The park's campsites are located in a fairly thin woods with a day use area and picnic pavilion nearby.

Visitors to Cedar Island enjoy camping, fishing, picnicking and waterfowl hunting. A boat dock is offered.
