Holiday Inn Express Crockett, Crockett

We stayed here for 5 nights and it was at a very hard time ( my Mom was very ill and passed away). We were treated very well by management as well as staff. We went back at a later time to take care of some business and were treated just as well.The room was very clean & when we needed to sleep during the day things were left for us (extra towels etc.). Thank you to the Patels & staff.

This is a newer modern Inn, with nicely appointed rooms. The linen and bedding is great, as are the beds. Extras include refrigerator, microwave, and in-room safe for valuables plus complimentary in-room coffee and coffee maker. They even furnish real glasses and real coffee cups in addition to standard plastic and styrofoam disposable glasses and cups. Nice work area and high-speed internet for the business traveller. The only cleanliness issue was the bathroom floor, the grout between the tiles was really dirty and needed a thorough scrubbing. Complimentary continental breakfast was acceptable. Inn Keeper and desk clerks are rude acting, they wanted to answer the telephone and talk to others in the check in area instead of complete my check-in or check-out procedure.

The staff wasn't helpful at all. Asked for a e-mail or fax confirmation. Was told by person making the reservation, No. Asked for manager the next day he said he would fax it. The day after that is still wasn't here. Our agency all ways receives from various hotels either a fax or e-mail confirmation when making reservations.

I felt the place was very clean and organized. The setup of decoration was nice. The next time I go to visit the in-laws, I plan to stay there again. However, the hot tub didnt run hot at the time. This was the only problem I observed. I am sure they corrected that by now.
