Offering discreet, understated quality, with an emphasis on customer service, this town house hotel was restored in 1989. The Halcyon is located in an upscale residential area on the fringes of London's hip Notting Hill district, and most rooms have lovely views over the adjacent Holland Park . It's both friendly and elegant, and is the hideout of many celebrities. Rooms have been individually designed, with decor ranging from the Ancient Egyptian to moons and stars, and all have up to the minute facilities.
