Oakwood Apartments Roppongi Central, Tokyo

I gotta say this hotel really was great! P.S. if you use SweetHotelDeals. Net for booking this hotel they usually have some pretty good hotel deals at this time of the year!

Roppongi is Tokyo's current active nexus of sin where the highest concentration of foreigners can be found any night after 6pm. An unusual plethora of Nigerian men work the doors of bars and work the street - "you, what kind of ladies are you looking for tonight?" Howard and I realized, much to our amusement, that the fastest way to have them stop pitching any sort of cheap sin was to say, "Excuse me, we are good Christian gentlemen." That seldom gets a rebuttal, unlike "I'm not interested," which seems to be the opening line in a two block long trailing conversation

We had two studios for our family of four. Loved the beds, the full kitchen, having a washer/dryer in the apartment. The rooms are immaculate and very large by Japanese standards. We also loved having English instructions for the high tech toilet, bath and all the fans. We normally don't get to enjoy using them! The staff were terrific- friendly and very helpful. Gave us a map with all the neighborhood restaurants, and also a free converter to plug in our laptops for the FREE internet access in the rooms. There is a free computer in the lobby as well. Location is excellent- about a 1 min walk from the subway and there are lots of good dining and night spots all around. If you are coming straight from the airport, the Airport Limo to the ANA hotel (3000yen), followed by a short (1200 yen) cab is the best way to get here.

Everyone is so helpful and polite. It is the perfect place to stay BUT do not order the room Via Asia Rooms

This is an awesome Apartment/Hotel just steps from all the action at the Roppongi crossing. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They speak excellent English, you can call and find out if you'd like. The rooms have a plasma TV with DVD player, heated wood floors, washer/dryer, full kitchen, king sized bed and those great washlet toilets. This place is awesom. I've been there 3 times already.

This is located a few minutes from the main entertainment district in Roppongi yet it is in a quiet location. It is conveniently located near the subway and there are plenty of taxis in the area.

The rooms are clean and are similar to business suite hotels in the states such as Embassy Suites. These might even be better in that they offer (very) High speed Internet and Plasma TVs with DVD players. Not that you will spend much time in the room.

For the price it is one of the best values I have found in Tokyo.

Great hotel, great location, spacious room and excellent customer service. Stayed there 4 times and wouldn't go anywhere else!
