Hip, Clean, & High Quality Lodging
By Brian, 5/14/06
We were greeted by The Mansion's friendly & well spoken staff. They answered our questions and made us feel very comfortable. They upgraded our room to a 2 bedroom 2 bath. Great views, quality furnishings, & incredibly clean. The washer and dryer came in very handy with our 2 year old and the extra space allowed us to spread out & relax. Quiet neighborhood close to subways, nightlife, parks, and restraunts of interest. Price was more than reasonable for the ammenities and the size of the apartments. I would without a doubt stay here again & highly recommend it to any traveler.

The Only Place to Stay
By Fish, 3/9/06
I stayed here in February and absolutely loved every minute of it! It was my first time to Japan and I was by myself, but the staff made me feel very welcome and comfortable. It was in an extremely convenient place with three subway stations within a few minutes walk and a few blocks away from the Hard Rock Tokyo. The staff spoke English extremely well and helped me with everything including booking me on tours and even figuring out a Japanese phone card. I had booked the studio for one week and when I arrived they upgraded me to a 2 bedroom 2 bath! It was enormous by anyone's standards and extremely clean. The washer and dryer was very handy as well. As for booking this hotel, I HIGHLY suggest using Travelocity as they had one of the lowest prices and they have a guarantee that your reservation will be right. Other sites tend to be a little more expensive like Asia Rooms. The only other precaution I would suggest is to ALWAYS have the map of where the hotel is on you at all times. Most taxi drivers do not know where this hotel is as it is on a side street behind the Russian Embassy. The best way to get there when you first arrive at Narita airport is to take the bus to the ANA hotel and take a taxi to this hotel. Overall, this was absolutely wonderful and I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Ripped us off
By David, 7/23/05
The hotel is nice and fancy. BUT - my wife and kids booked 1 room for 2 nights through TravelNow travel agency in Japan. Somehow, Azabu Towers had her down for 3 rooms. They charged her an extra 59,000 yen (about $600) and refused to refund the money, admit the mistake or help in any way. They blamed it on the travel agency. The travel agency - TravelNow - boasts of 24-hour online service - but all emails have gone unanswered. This is basically theft. Be very careful dealing with these people.

Former Resident
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/21/05
This hotel used to be apartments that people lived in for the long term. I, along with my family of five, was one of them. We lived on the 7th floor for 22 years until 1998. It catered mostly to foreign nationals or fairly wealthy Japanese families. The location is fantastic. Quiet neighborhood but minutes away from Roppongi (night life), Russian Embassy, Tokyo Tower, The Tokyo American Club, and subways.
