This five star hotel is in a GREAT location for walking and taking in the sights of Paris. You can observe the Paparazzi watch for celebraties to come in and out of the Ritz, you can take a short walk to the Seine, stroll up the Champs Elysees, spend a bundle (or look in the windows) of the ultimate shopping street Faubourg St-Honore, visit the Paris Opera to view the awesome ceiling painting by Chagall, jump on a double decker ParisVision bus to tour the city or hop on the efficient and simple Paris subway - "Metro", or walk but a couple of blocks to view each evening at the top of each hour the Eiffel Tower as it twinkles with a gazillion lights. The hotel is full of fabulous bronze people sculpture - sculptures, chandeliers, door handles, door knobs. The restaurants are fabulous, the spa services sparce but fantastic, and the bar is filled with great music and great art work. The lobby restaurant bar and the separate bar offer many different bottles of champagne by the glass. The hotel also offers a great lobby with a substantial see through fireplace to sit by and enjoy a romantic time together. The staff is superb! I would definitely stay in this hotel again, and I've stayed in all the five star hotels in Paris.
