The Inn at Gig Harbor, Gig Harbor

Smoking in motel rooms is illegal in Washington. When I reported that smoking in the room next to me was giving my wife and I headaches and asked that 1) the offending parties be moved and 2) an adjustment be made on the bill no action was taken. A follow up call 2 days later also produced no response.

The Inn at Gig Harbor lives up to its tag line of combining world class service with small Inn ambiance. We originally chose The Inn at Gig Harbor because we are older and wanted a full service hotel with an elevator, which the other hotel in town does not have. We were pleasantly surprised that in addition we had wonderfully friendly service and exceptional food at the in house Heritage Restaurant....not your typical hotel restaurant. We cannot say enough about the wonderful staff at The Inn at Gig Harbor and the restaurant.

I stayed at the Inn at Gig Harbour with my brother, who is diabetic and sometimes wets the bed. He had informed the staff of his condition and I assumed the issue was cleared. I was charged on my credit card. The sales representive was apologetic, but not helpful in resolving this issue. I am very disappointed on how this matter was settled.

Staff very helpful, accommodating to our wishes; our daughter is a student at the University of Puget Sound and they have been very helpful in making sure our rooms have been comfortable for all of us, even switching to make sure the rooms work. Great bartender!! Restaurant menu needs some updating, overdone food (keep things more simple, less overdone sauces -- thinking of Higgins in Portland) although seems to improve each time we're there, more vegetarian items (we're vegetarian), but the breakfast menu is fine, especially the whole grain bread -- divine!!!! Wish the entrance was more defined -- on our first trip we drove past it several times. The alternate entrance around some small industrial not very appealing. The entryway of the hotel and the great fireplace -- wonderful ambiance. On one of our stays the Inn was hosting the senior ball for one of the local high schools, what a treat. Check out the local restaurant directly across the street from the main entrance -- can't recall the name, but it's very comfortable, in walking distance, and a great find, especially for a late evening check-in meal (bar with menu is open until about 11pm). The Inn is our first choice in Gig Harbor.

High prices for avarage motel.There was nothing to do at the motel for kids,no swimming pool,I've seen cleaner bathrooms.Food in resturant was exellcent however.Got better deal for half the price the next night!

The food was worse then Denny's! The rooms very average and the service atrocious!

My wife and I were exremely pleased with the hotel. The service was excellent and would recommend to everyone trying to stay in the Gig Harbor area. Thanks to YAHOO Travel for the awsome prices.

Every time I visit the Northwest, I stay at the Inn At Gig Harbor, it is so relaxing. The hotel has friendly staff members, great accommodations, beautiful surroundings, and a wonderful restaurant (the best salmon I've ever had). I can not recommend a better place to stay. It's perfect.
