Great for our purposes
By A Yahoo! User, 04/13/08
The room was very nice. We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was well furnished. They offer breakfast and a light meal in the evening which is included in the price. The "store" could be better stocked and the afternoon shift could be friendlier but other then that it was great. Nice fitness room, free in room wi-fi, laundry and business center. It's about 9 miles from Boston and the area has nothing to do. But it was great for where we needed to be. I am extremely picky about hotel rooms and I'd stay here again in a second.

the stay.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/17/07
the hotel looked nice. but the room i stayed in was not as great as it sounded on the website. one of the bathrooms in my room has cracked tiles, and the shower had rust on it. The breakfast food was not the greatest. But the staff was polite.

Ok but some issues
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/30/07
This was a clean and pretty well stocked place as far as the rooms go. They are spacious with comfortable beds. We have stayed there a number of times on business. We found the staff to be rather unfriendly. I was traveling with a service animal and was treated very rudely by the hotel manager who should know better. The food served in the evening was about the same but the breakfast served was terrible. the breakfast bar was not well stocked at any given time and was of poor quality. I would recommend the hotel if the rude behavior of the staff is of no concern.

value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/19/06
Arrived at about 11pm from uk about 30 mins from Logan and ok to find even with the Ted/Mass Turnpike detour.Had booked 1 bed appt but was upgraded free to 2 bed.Rooms very good.breakfast and tea time snack included and are good for what you have paid.hotel is in an office estate (not industrial) and a bit away from shops but with some research they are easily found eg Shaws, Costco, etc. We used MRT from Alewife to get into Boston and drove everywhere else a car is essential. The hotel pool is not bad and it has a small gym (3 cv machines)

I was there for a few days, the internet was horrable! probably slower then ISDN or dialup. The rooms where very outdated and the service was absolutely horrable.

Excellent except for the fleas
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/16/05
This hotel is an excellent place. The rooms are large, being suites, and there is a separate living room with a pullout bed and separate television, as well as a kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with pots and pans, plates, glasses, dish soap, a fridge, a stove, a toaster, a dishwasher, and other kitchen necessities. The service is good as well. The only problem I had was that since this hotel allows pets, the pullout bed I slept on the first night had fleas. I was bitten several times and killed a flea while I was there. However, the hotel was nice and moved my bags to another room free of charge. This is a great place for business travelers who are staying for more than a week because they can make their own meals in their own rooms instead of dining out all the time. Complimentary breakfast is also served every day. One problem with Waltham is also the lack of grocery stores. Make sure you use a reliable map when driving! Although the hotel has directions to a nearby grocery store, when looking around for one myself, I had to go into the next down to find a Trader Joe's. Other than these things, Summerfield Suites is a great place and worth staying at again.

Great Hotel Stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/27/04
The hotel was a pleasant surprise. Although it's a bit out of the way, if you have a car, it's extremely convenient to highways. Rooms were great, incredibly spacious and clean. I'll stay here again if I have the opportunity.
