1 reviews for Holiday Inn Express Omaha, Omaha
dont recommend to anyone
By Mike, 11/26/08
to be fair i will say that the front desk staff was friendly, after the midday shift change its hard to get the person behind the desk to look away from his computer but i can handle that. i've stayed at this hotel several times and it seems that the hot tub facility's are always down and at this point im not even getting a sincere apology its almost as if the problem has been forgotten about. after searching reviews on different sites i have found that this has been an issue from as far back as 2005. having spoken with the managers i am not suprised, i called on a saturday with an issue and was instructed by the gentleman on duty to call back during the week he then took my information and politely told me he would make sure that his manager recieved it and called me on monday. i recieved no phone call and in turn call the hotel on monday leaving a message on the manager lauras voice mail stating that she call me. the rest of the week passed and no phone call i then call again this time on a sunday and spoke to the same gentleman who apologized for his management team and then told me that he would pass the information on again once again apologizing for his managers. the following week i finally recieve an email about the voice message i had left. if this is the type of management running the hotel then i am not suprised that issues are being left for years waiting for someone to solve them but, not only does the hot tub work only half of the time, but there is black mold in the showers, and during my winter visits the side walks crack and buckle enough to where a person has to find another route or fall. how this hotel stays running is beyond me. so to sum this up i'll say the hotel has great cookies but if you find places to stay based on things other than how good there cookies are. this hotel is not worth staying in.
