WELL WORTH IT!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/18/07
Greeted by name as we stepped out of the taxi (they check the luggage tags 1st), our personal valet escorted us to the front desk, offered us a beverage while we checked in, and then walked us to our room. She quickly walked through the amenities, offered us her card in case we needed any additional services, and then politely excused her self. The entire stay was as excellent as the 1st 15 minutes. Just a couple blocks from the Esplanade Mall, it was an easy 15 walk along the harbor to Boat Quay (pronounced key) and then Clarke Quay. The Orchard Road shopping is a long walk or a short cab ride away. The room amenities and furnishings were immaculate, and room size (approx 500 sq ft) was very comfortable. Don't miss the night time view out of the bathtub, quite impressive. The breakfast buffet, though pricey, is well worth the money.

Loved it. This is simply the best Hotel in the whole world!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/06/07
As usual, we are never dissapointed by the Ritz Carlton 6-star service. The ambience, the staff, the service, everything is WOW! It was great for every single member from our family, infant, child and parent. The spacious modern style guestrooms, the luxurious bathrooms. Simply everything was WOW. All the room amenities were superb, the LCD TV, the DVD player. The view is also lovely. The landscape is Great. As an Architect, I found the Ritz Carlton Millenia Singapre strategically located in the heart of Marina Centre. Its Architectural Design is also stunning.

Oasis
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/06/07
Except for the rate of the room and the distance to main shopping area Orchard Road, this is really one of those super luxurious hotels that you would hope to pamper yourself every now and then. I like the modernist, clean-cut feel to the hotel, but I find the service a little over-the-top sometimes. They need to know that sometimes less is more.

A real review
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/20/06
Don't believe all the hype you read about this hotel. Many hotels have thier own people write thier reviews. I did not find anything special about this hotel. My room stunk like an ashtrey. I called to the front office and they told me it could not be true and that I was on a non-smoking floor. An attendant from housekeeping came up to the room with a spay bottle and sprayed a few squirts. Now my room smelled of flowers and cigaretts. The next day I called again. For me this was a big deal. I don't smoke and I dont want to breathe the smell. The supervisor from housekeeping came to my room. She did not really seem to care about my problem but she did agree to put an ozone machine in the room. This helped a little. The Ritz Carlton staff are too proud of themselves and could not effectively handle a problem. All I wanted was to me moved to a room that did not smell like smoke. I did not feel understood. Nor did I feel like I belonged there.

Great Experience
By Shyam, 10/22/06
Ritz Carlton in Singapore is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. Each room has a nice view opening to the city or the water. The bath rooms are luxurious with a lavish bath and showers. The staff are warm and friendly.
