The Island Club of Hilton Head, Hilton Head Island

This was our first trip to Hilton Head. Our unit was a bit dated, seemed like the owners were updating things slowly. We traveled with two little ones who loved the swingset to play on while we grilled dinner. They also loved the pools. I would go back and stay here again, maybe finding a different unit that was more updated.

Love the beach and the 9 soft surface courts. Weather is always pleasant. Biking there is so much fun...it's flat! The seafood is scrumptious.

The staff is accomodating nearly to a fault. The resort is beach-side and the beach is broad and clean. The units are well appointed and well kept. The only comment reference facilities is that wireless internet is an extra expense, and reception is spotty. Nonetheless, an excellent community library is nearby and offers plenty of public computer access as well as attractive and expansive library facilities. The Island Club is well located with access to groceries, restaurants, general shopping, and medical services all within easy distance. The pool, tennis courts, and other rec facilities are clean and well maintained. Golf courses are all over the place. After a two-week stay we decided to buy a week, and are shopping to add a week on either side to make a nice two-week Hilton Head experience.

I was lucky and got a 2 bedroom condo overlooking the ocean at the Island Club Seawatch. I could walk to the beach in one minute or less. They had 3 pools, about 10 tennis courts, Sauna, & hottub the works. The best thing about the Island is the clean beaches, nothing like an ocean beach. Many things on the Island were overpriced. We stayed there for a week. We visited the lighthouse. We enjoyed the Island very much and will certainly be visiting again

The Island Club offers one of the best beaches on the island. It is large and never too crowded. The 2 bedroom units are large and can accommodate 4 adults very comfortably. We look forward to our next visit.
