Quaint Inn with a beautiful setting
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/12/11
This Inn was inexpensive and absoutely charming. The english woman who runs it is so nice and helpful. It is decorated so cute and there are plenty of pillow and the room was extremely clean. Would highly recommend anyone to stay as you will not be disappointed. We plan on making this hotel our annual 1/2 way home stay every year.

great little motel
By John, 8/3/06
spent one night here touring battlefields-the outside appearance doesnt do it justice-the rooms are quaint, clean, and quiet. The owner was very friendly and you absolutely cannot beat the value. I definitely recommend it and I will definitely be going back when Im in the area.

Spent The Night 1930's Style!
By Lynne, 3/20/06
The inn has a great location on gorgeous Route 11. It was very quiet, seemed to be nice and clean and the folks were pretty friendly. So were the cats. The room was small but confortable. The bathroom had gorgeous retro-tile and was a nice size. I really appreciated the microwave, fridge and the tea they provided. On the downside, the room was a bit drafty. The window was cracked and the AC unit sealed with styrofoam. It warmed up okay thanks to the little heater provided. Also, stepping from the bedroom rug into the bathroom, carpet tacks were exposed, making for an exciting morning wake-up. The place was really quiet, too.

Not a bad place
By Brian Ross, 3/5/06
Motel is worth the money (which in my case was $35 for the night, tax included). Rooms are small, but cozy, very clean and quiet. Good access to caverns and sking. Lots of cats around the place.

One of our favorites

Our favorite, and the best value in the mid-Shenandoah Valley---and they have a microwave and fridge, plus free chocolate chip cookies!
