Description

Situated along the famous Royal Route overlooking the Presidential Palace stands the most elegant hotel in Warsaw. The Bristol harks back to pre-World War II when Warsaw was the, "Paris of the North." Although it took 15 years to refurbish, the hotel recovered an amazing percentage of the original fixtures and furnishings. Each room offers an experience of supreme luxury with its French doors, high ceilings and balconies. Amenities are all up to today's speed and combining luxury. The hotel also offers a health club and beauty salon. Still the reigning symbol of luxury in Warsaw, the Bristol is worth a visit even if you don't plan to stay overnight. Treat yourself to delicious coffee and cake on the ground-floor Cafe Bristol as you take a break up the Royal Route. Then take a horse cab up to the nearby Old Town Market Square (Rynek Starego Miasta).

Busy Execs Need to Read This!
By ,
I bust my hump traveling world wide and consequently expect excellent hotel facilities to support me. As for the Meridian, the hotel is superficially beautiful but functionally obsolete. (1) I was unable to cool the room (my stay was in Mid March '08) even when turning the thermometer to its absolute lowest. The windows are permanently locked to the closed position so you're unable to cool off naturally or just to get a fresh breeze by opening the window. Executives never like to be boxed in. Sweated in my tighty whities all night. Darn! (2) The room layout and particularly laptop/computer ergonomics are strictly early 20th Century. I've got back and neck pains as I write. Got a massage downstairs, which was mediocre at best. (3) As of mid March '08...major road construction out front. Don't expect peace and quite prior to road crews disbanding at ~ 5:30PM. (4) Restaurant is excellent and very pricey. (5) Good location if you want to spend some time in Old Town at your leisure. Otherwise, stay at the Marriot and take the short taxi road over to Old Town area if you must. Then you'll get a great night sleep. Exec from CLEVELAND, OH USA

Experience Warsaw
By ,
To go to Warsaw and not stay at Le Royal Meridien Bristol is not to experience Warsaw. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff is friendly and the food is excellent. You couldn't ask for a better location. We would go back to Warsaw just to stay in the hotel.

Old world charm !
By ,
I stayed at The Bristol for 4 days in february 2005. This is an old, elegant, very charming hotel. The people at the lobby really try to make you feel welcome the moment you set foot inside. Our room was large, but a litte worn down. The bathroom was white marble and really nice. There are 2 great restaurants in the hotel - and the wonderful and famous Caf Bristol, with its sunday chocolate bufft ! It's location is perfect; right on the spot for Stare Miasto and only a short walk to the shopping district. This is a hotel I hope to come back to !

The only place to stay in Warsaw !
By ,
I travel to Warsaw once a year, and usually stay in the Bristol. Unfortunately this year, we stayed in another hotel and I can only say that it made me appreciate the charm and elegance of the Bristol that much more. Daily breakfast is superb, and the rooms are immaculate and luxurious. I always get great sleep in the comfortable beds, and absolutely love the towel warmers located in the bathroom. Very useful for the cold winters in Warsaw ! Location is also good, as it is only a short walk to the old town square, and some nice traditional Polish restaurants. Customer service is this hotels highest achievement. Every staff member has a smile on their face, and no request is too large or small. Your comfort and convenience is their number one priority and it shows in everything they do. If you are trying to decide where to stay on your next (or first) trip to Warsaw, look no further than the Bristol. You will NOT be disappointed.

One of the great hotels
By ,
Absolutely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. I stayed for a few days on the way back from Ukraine, and it was a fantastic welcome back to the civilized world. As the previous reviewer wrote, the breakfast is superb and the service in every respect is very attentive without being intrusive. Stay here, it's an easy decision.

The Bristol: Elegance in an Old Style
By ,
I enjoyed six days at the Bristol in the late Summer, 2004. This is an elegant hotel in the old style. The staff is very sensitive to the needs of all guests and try to provide the most courteous and comfortable experience possible. The morning buffet is one of the most luxurious I have ever eaten with fish, meats, breads, juices, and almost anything else you might desire. The room I had was spotlessly clean with a spacious marble bathroom and a bedroom of muted colors and rich fine fabrics. The Presidential Palace immediately ajoins the Bristol and both are just a half-kilometer from the Stare Miasto (Old City) along the "Royal Way". The inexpensive taxis of Warsaw are immediately available at the hotel's entrance. A fine and gracious experience.
