Good deal, great service
By ,
I stayed here on Halloween for a Pearl Jam concert. Game 3 & 4 of the World Series and an Eagles game were all going on this weekend as well. Everything about our stay was positive. The hotel ran like a well oiled machine. I was on the top floor and didn't have to wait long for an elevator except during checkout hours but I can see why it might be an issue, all elevators go to each floor rather than split for express service. Cleaning service as well as check-in and checkout were fast, consistent and great. Service all around the hotel was great even at the free breakfast and happy. Breakfast was pretty good consider it was free, they kept the buffet stocked and clean, tables were cleared immediately and seating wasn't too bad considering it how busy it was. The omelette guy was pretty bad ass at making damn good eggs and serving them up in a mad rush. Happy hour was equally as good with decent snacks and good mixed drinks. I don't know why some people are complaining. No wait for the valet either, overall the stay was top notch considering the price and free meals/booze. The staff was incredibly friendly and we received better service here than at the Loews. The lowest point of the whole experience was I found a lady bug in my room on the inside of the window, but what are you going to do. I didn't kill because that is bad luck and the Yankees won both games since.

Ive stayed here more than once andI wanted a comfortable room that I could smoke in. It was more than that, they provided us with champange and a personal note. The staff was very friendly and I can't wait to go back.

Not bad, but not great
By ,
Our newly renovated room was neat, clean and spacious...really quite nice. But no matter what they do to the property, there are only 3 small elevators and they are used by both guests and staff. So be prepared to wait for elevators, and to stop on what seems like every floor. Business travelers take note...the property is very popular with families with young kids and other leisure travel types. Families take note...the pull out couch is a spacious queen size, but they do not have rollaway beds or cots. The restaurant on property is a very old and tired TGI Friday's (maybe it too will be renovated?). They also use it to serve breakfast in the mornings which is kind of weird (but regular breakfast food, not TGIF fare). And bear in mind that they charge $34 for overnight parking.

Fabulous!
By ,
My husband works in Phildelphia (commutes from Lancaster) so as a treat to get away from the kids we spent a night in town. Our room was spotless, we had a surperb view of Logan Circle, all the way up to the Art Museum. The amenities enabled us to have dinner in our room, on the balcony, watching the sun set. It was a fabulous stay!

I loved the friendliness of the staff and the spacious two room suites. I have stayed here many times and appreciated the associates remembering my name and my personal hotel preferences. Good vibes all around.

Friendly Staff Prompt service
By ,
The hotel is a a wonderful location for work and sight seeing in Philly. I don't like the fact that you have to pay for internet access which is free in most other hotels. However the large rooms/suites and friendly staff make staying there a pleasure

A home away from home
By ,
We liked the view, space, cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms, the staff was very nice, breakfast was hot and fresh we love being able to have our omlets being cooked right before our eyes and we liked everything else this hotel had to offer. We traveled to Philadelphia on a charter bus in 2003 and 2005 for a church youth convention. We stayed at the Embassy Suite every time we came. Our group loved everything about this hotel. When we came back in 2005 the rooms looked a whole lot different from when we came in 2003. They did a beautiful job with the renovation. The large King bed and queen sofa bed were comfortable. We are planning our third trip to Philadelphia. This time it will be for leisure time and we will reside at the Embassy Suite.

LOVED IT!
By ,
We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great. The spacious room was clean. The staff was fairly helpful and friendly. They offer a complimentary breakfast at TGIF's that was very nice. The location was fantastic and we walked to many museums and restaurants. This hotel definitely had a lot to do with our having a great trip in Philadelphia. The down side was you have to pay for parking which is around $24 a night. We parked at a parking lot within a block away and paid considerably less then the hotels parking lot. Also, cable internet was $10 a day which irritated me a bit since this was a working trip. All in all this is an excellent place to stay!

Great local, great value
By ,
We loved staying here. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and we had a great view of the city from the 17th floor. The hotel offered a complimentary cocktail hour and breakfast, making its value even better. Plus, the hotel was within walking distance of major attractions in Philadelphia.
