Embassy Suites Philadelphia Center City, Philadelphia

I stayed here on Halloween for a Pearl Jam concert. Game 3 & 4 of the World Series and an Eagles game were all going on this weekend as well. Everything about our stay was positive. The hotel ran like a well oiled machine. I was on the top floor and didn't have to wait long for an elevator except during checkout hours but I can see why it might be an issue, all elevators go to each floor rather than split for express service. Cleaning service as well as check-in and checkout were fast, consistent and great. Service all around the hotel was great even at the free breakfast and happy. Breakfast was pretty good consider it was free, they kept the buffet stocked and clean, tables were cleared immediately and seating wasn't too bad considering it how busy it was. The omelette guy was pretty bad ass at making damn good eggs and serving them up in a mad rush. Happy hour was equally as good with decent snacks and good mixed drinks. I don't know why some people are complaining. No wait for the valet either, overall the stay was top notch considering the price and free meals/booze. The staff was incredibly friendly and we received better service here than at the Loews. The lowest point of the whole experience was I found a lady bug in my room on the inside of the window, but what are you going to do. I didn't kill because that is bad luck and the Yankees won both games since.

I chose the Embassy hotel because I recntly i was their for the very crazy Live 8. Everything was just on point,although that whole week was a very busy week for Philadelphia. I called around for my friends to get a nice place to stay and all the other hotels in Philly wouldn't help us find a nice room they would try to just fit us in somewhere as appose to the embassy where they took the time out to help us get a nice room. This was also better because i was already on Ben frankilin parkway.So i got to get uo early and get a nice seat at live 8. When i arrived at the hotel the service was exceptional it was my friends and i were superstars they didn't heisitate to come help us room service was there when we called for something to eat. The room was also clean. When we first got there and it was like something out of a movie . I swore the room had a sparkle to it because it was so clean that it was like nobody had ever been in the room at all.

Everything sounded so good in the property description, but the hotel just wasn't worth it. AC was noisy, waking us up in the night, as well as sounds from hallway. Parking is valet only and construction forced us to double park on the street in order to check in. Not worth the price, but having suite is nice with putting kids to bed without disturbing your own down time. Interesting building design that was confusing to walk through. Charges for internet access. Next time, staying outside the city.

It was pretty nice and I love being able to go out into Philadelphia at 3:00am there being stuff to do!

Between the great view of Live 8 and the great weather in philadelphia along with excellent service and and staff always going above and beyond.

Our newly renovated room was neat, clean and spacious...really quite nice. But no matter what they do to the property, there are only 3 small elevators and they are used by both guests and staff. So be prepared to wait for elevators, and to stop on what seems like every floor. Business travelers take note...the property is very popular with families with young kids and other leisure travel types. Families take note...the pull out couch is a spacious queen size, but they do not have rollaway beds or cots. The restaurant on property is a very old and tired TGI Friday's (maybe it too will be renovated?). They also use it to serve breakfast in the mornings which is kind of weird (but regular breakfast food, not TGIF fare). And bear in mind that they charge $34 for overnight parking.

Ive stayed here more than once andI wanted a comfortable room that I could smoke in. It was more than that, they provided us with champange and a personal note. The staff was very friendly and I can't wait to go back.

Managers Reception is an awesome touch. TGIF is located in the hotel and the complimentary breakfast is wonderful. Serves fresh pancakes, omelettes, bacon and other treats. Better than just the traditional bagels and juice.

I thought that this hotel was very classy and upscale.The hotel workers were so nice. The hotel was so classy that while I was staying there it was a wedding going on.I hope that I could do the same. It has a great location. You can see most of philadelphia greatest landmarks right outside tour window.
