The worst hotel service I've ever had

I made a reservation by phone about a half an hour before arrival. I had to use central reserv instead of the front desk, b/c the front desk did not pick up the phone. I was told that my cc would be charged, and I was good to go. I show up & the hotel does not have my resrv, tells me I must have made a mistake, and I should go somewhere else. Nope, I say, I am being charged for a room at this hotel. I was told repeatedly that I must have it wrong. I talk to manager, who tells me the same. Why don't you check, I say? How come nobody is trying to check on my reservation?
After an hour of me standing at the front desk, they figure out that I had it right, and give me a parlor room (living room part of a suite). The key doesn't work. Same two mean pple at the front say it is b/c I don't know how to use the key. (I've travelled for biz about 2x a month for the past 8 years.) Turns out to be their mistake. They bring rollaway beds, but make no effort to have them near each other. Oh, and the person who has the rest of the suite is surprised to have me walk in at 2 am! I am comped room, but mean awful unhelpful front-desk people were not apologetic, and I would've gladly spent $200 to not such drama.
