Les Terrasses Poulard, Mont-St-Michel

Three couples, over 65 but in good health, booked this hotel directly online. Yes, there are 3 floors BUT what you don't know until you arrive is that it is 155 stone steps outside from the reception desk to the "hotel" THEN there are 3 flights of stairs--NO LIFT-- and no offer of porter or assistance. The young woman at the reception desk was rude, told us there were no porters, told us we had no dinner reservation until we produced our confirmation. One final straw: when I filled out the comment sheet and left it at the desk, she threw it in the trash. So much for, "we're glad you're here."
