Plaza Suites, Las Cruces

Rooms are very big, and clean. They had a recent update on the wifi network i was told. The new wifi is the fastest at any hotel i have ever been at. Kitchenettes are beautiful, and very spacious. The pool is very nice, and is one of the cleanest public pools i have ever been in. great location, and right next to the university. It is also very quiet. The staff is very professional, and friendly. Great for corporate stays, and family get aways. This is the only place i will stay at when in Las Cruces!!!!

free internet is horrible slow if you can stay connected. Even used the one i was recommended that was closest to my room and other ones that are available. Rooms are nice clean and the front desk is very great and professional. House keeping is a little lacking mainly women in charge is a bit creepy and wants you to bend for her.

The room was large, very clean and comfortable. The front desk clerks helpful and very friendly. Only draw back would be no coffee pot, but we always bring our own. Very inexpensive.

My room was dirty, old and had A LOT of indications of a prior roach infestation. (I don't think the stained carpet had been cleaned in a very long time.) The pictures look good and, of course, the prices are good but buyer beware! Keep looking. You don't want to stay here.

Have stayed on three occasions and found it a good bargain and pleasant place. Both of the owners were friendly, helpful and businesslike folks. Have no idea what previous review meant by weird.

The court yard is really nice and green. Their insurance policies prohibit unregistered guests from swimming in the pool. The couch needs to go; very uncomfortable. A/C is great; reason why I came to this place. The size of the two bed suite is good for two to three people. Suite came with a microwave and small refrigerator, cable T.V., small restroom,wireless internet, large sink area, 3 large mirrors, coffee table (nice), couple drawers, desk with chair, large front and rear windows. Police substation within the premises. The room I got was in the bottom floor and I can always hear the ceiling creaking from people walking above. Overall, good sleep, desk woman is kinda weird, couch is old and needs to go, spacious, should be $35 a night but isn't.

Clean, comfortable, QUIET, safe, great location. The price is outstanding. There are laundry facilities on the premises. Clean pool. Joe, the owner, is very helpful. Free internet. We will stay here again.

I lived in plaza suite for months when I was a postdoc in New Mexico State Univ. I would say living there was very comfortable, and it saved me a lot of money cmpared to whereever I lived later in US. Strongly recommmneded.

We initially stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to the university, but will stay here every time we visit Las Cruces. The best feature was the price. Where can you stay in a hotel with a king-sized bed, clean and quiet suite-sized rooms with microwave and refrigerator, a clean inviting pool area, and pay only about 50 dollars for two people? Forget the chains, this is the place to stay.

I've stayed a few times. Some of the rooms are beautiful, with really nice furniture, and others are pitiful with shabby furniture. It is clean. It is privately owned and being renovated a little at a time. Ask for the "blue room". Service is good. Pillows are huge, but they will provide you with others if you ask.
