Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Natura, Reykjavik

We stayed at the hotel in May 2004. We had a deluxe room and it was enormous by European standards. The hotel was very clean and neat. The bathroom was very nice and had a great shower. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was ok, and included in the price.

The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the downtown area. But it�s next to a nice small forest that is great for walking and near the thermal beach, a great recreational area. The hotel has a pool and spa, but it does close quite early.

Rent a bike from the hotel and go cycling. The bikes are new and in excellent condition. There is a car rental place 2 minutes walk from he hotel and a bowling alley with pool tables 3 minutes walk away. Also walk up the hill next to the hotel, via the forest and visit the city hot water storage tanks, it�s a wonderful building and they serve very nice food at the restaurant at the top of the building.

There is an airfield next to the hotel and we had a room overlooking the airport. But with the windows closed we could not hear a thing.

We would stay at the hotel again, when we visit Iceland. But I do recommend that you hire a car.
