They called the police on us, Ruined our trip

This is our first disappointment-we booked the Torbrau based on previous reviews and it failed us in so many ways. This hotel is on a dirty, noisy street. There are sex shops outside. There is an uncomfortable lobby. The front desk is unhelpful and unwelcoming. It was hot while we were there and the air-conditioning didn't work. They grudgingly showed us other rooms-they were unpleasant, dark, noisy, hot and floors were dirty.
We argued with the manager about getting out of our 5 night contract at 252 euros a night for 2 days, finally he agreed to let us pay for 3. When we checked out after 3 nights, he wanted to charge us for 5 nights and when we wouldn't he immediately CALLED THE POLICE. We ended up paying for an extra night! We filed a compaint with him in writing and with the tourist board.
This hotel is worn-you have to lug your bags up a flight of stairs with no one offering you help. There is one small slow elevator. The Italian restaurant is bad. Our TV didn't work well. They charge 6 euros for 45 minutes internet. They were not helpful at the front desk-every time we asked about the help other people got for tours they directed us to the TI down the street. No one cared if we had help making plans.
We asked for an omelet at breakfast and got raw eggs. The beds are hard and uncomfortable. The mattresses are very low quality. We had a DELUXE double room! They had a workman in our room while we were staying there going in and out.
THIS HOTEL RUINED OUR DREAM TRIP TO MUNICH! Please spare yourselves and don't stay there and if you do please ask the manager to refund Forest's money! I told him I would be writing this review and he didn't care. By the way we moved to the Platzl and it was everything we had hoped the Torbrau would be. For $350 US a night this hotel is a disaster. Do yourself a favor and do not stay there. I would never, ever stay there again.
