Okay once you get past the check-in
I actually enjoyed the hotel once I got past the checkin! Due to the regulations of the hotel, make sure everyone staying at the hotel is on the list that they may or may not inform you of, because I arrived after my boyfriend, and was denied entry into the hotel, and then was told I couldn't stay at the hotel because I wasn't on the list! Crazy right. So then I try to rent a separate room, and they wouldn't even let me rent a room. Finally after about 45 minutes of arguing with the front desk clerk, a manager came out and let me just sign a piece of paper that was verification that I would be staying for the 14 day duration. Beyond this, my stay was great. The staff was friendly, and the free breakfast that accompanied our room selection (again you must check and verify that you get the breakfast) was pretty good. They also have a happy hour that was good too! I just felt the initial hassle left a bad taste in my mouth. The rooms were clean, but bathrooms very small, and we had to change rooms once due to a water leak in the first room. I would compare the rooms to a Holiday Inn Express type deal, nothing swank, not at all what you think when you look at the lobby. The elevators were a little scary too, making noise when you ride. The staff was nice though, very attentive, and the location is okay. You have to get out and walk to see the local things, but the road outside the hotel is very busy. The taxi will cost you $9 USD to get to the colonial zone, but then you can get out and walk. You will do better to rent a car if you want to go to the beach, because the taxi drivers hike the prices up substantially. The Pool is nice and the spa is nice. The internet is wireless and only free on the 10th floor if you have entry to that floor, and the lobby, if not you have to pay to use it in your room. The gym was small, but nicer than most hotel gyms.
