What a great place for a family reunion!
By Mc, 10/27/08
Not sure what sally is talking about. Me and my extended family were there the last weekend in September and had the best time. We couldn't have picked a nicer place. All of the people who work there are so friendly and accomodating. The building design is odd but great if you drive because no matter where your room is, you can park pretty close so it's easy to lug your stuff in and out. Even though it's not really close to anything except the airport, the location works well because of the shuttles. They are free and the drivers we met were both friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Warning: it might be hard to get the kids out of the pool long enough to go anywhere! They were very sweet and put all of our rooms close to each other. This made it easy to keep an eye on all of the children and for the grandparents to read stories. The rooms aren't fancy but they are comfortable. The bathroom in my room was so clean it looked brand new. Loved the restaurant - the food was good and the service was excellent, even when the whole bunch descended on the dining room at the same time. A couple of us went to the little club on Friday. It is cute with a DJ and a dance floor. We have wonderful memories from that weekend. I will definitely stay here again if I am back in the Allentown, Bethlehem, or Dorneyville area.

By sally, 09/26/08
I used to be a regular guest and patron but when somebody was murdered last year in the parking lot and then a stabing two weeks ago in the lobby I cant believe that they keep this place open!!!! Inside the nite club its nothing but gangs and drug dealers. If you want your family and yourself to be safe then i advise you to STAY AWAY!!!

Rat Hole?
By none, 07/07/08
This has to be the worst Sheraton in the world in my opinion. Their website shows a great lobby with a fireplace, big restaurant and flat screen TV's. Wow! In the real world the lobby is gutted, the restaurant is closed, and the tiny rooms are furnished in what can only be described as "used" furiture with tired, old hotel 25" TV's. Their "business center" is an old pc on a table in a hallway. They are not even close to being a three star unless you want mold and urine stains in your bathroom. The staff is rude and they even left a manager's guest report on a table by the pool for anyone to see. Drive around the corner to the new Holiday Inn Express. The hotel was clean and new and the rates were better.

They call this a Sheraton?!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/19/07
This place was quite dated and generally depressing. I felt like I was in a B-movie set wherein a chainsaw killer would bust into my room at any moment. The room was so small that I had to close the TV cabinet to walk around the bed. The bar/restaurant was some cheesy 80's-style place that made me ask myself, "where have I gone wrong in life?" I cannot believe that Sheraton even allows their name to be on this facility. It is in need of MAJOR renovation. I'm a Platinum Starwood member and would not stay in this hotel again. I moved over to the Hotel Bethlehem whenever it was available and the Courtyard by Marriott other times.

Not what expected but nIce place to stay
By oj, 03/11/07
The hotel is a bit dated but probably high end for the area it is in. My family stayed for the weekend; friday and saturday night. First impression was not the best but the place grew on us. The pool was fun and movie night was a plus. However the restaurant left something to be desired. The only good meal there is the breakfast buffet, room service and dinner meals were not made well (recommend a local restaurant or chain restaurant both just minutes away). The location is good, directions were exellent to Blue Mountain (better than yahoo maps) and finding the hotel also was easy. The room noise is pretty high, the heater/fan was loud and hallway traffic you hear every conversation. Also very close to the airport so planes landing and taking off as well. Overall we would stay again just now would know not to have dinner in restaurant. Also do research we found internet rate which was alot less than going rate.

Would love to go back anytime!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/05/06
I stayed at the Four Points Sheraton back in Febuary 2005. As soon as we walked in our room, the front desk called us to make sure everything was as it should be. It was!!! The King size bed was the most comfortable bed i have ever slept on in my life. The pool was a nice size. The bar was fun. We had a great time. The only thing we didnt get was the food because there is a diner across the street, along with a denny's and a few more resturaunts. It was Great!!!!!!
