Hallmark Resort, Cannon Beach

Having been a repeat guest at Hallmark in Cannon Beach I was totally surprised at how badly our reservation was "screwed" up and the cavalier attitude of the desk support staff involved. Will not return and will not recommend this establishment to others.

I have never been disappointed by Hallmark! The rooms are always clean and very well appointed. The balconies are wonderful...the views magnificent and the daily visits by the silly sea gulls always fun! The staff are wonderful...always friendly and on the few occassions I've needed maintenance on a room, I've never waited more than 10 minutes no matter how full the complex is. The grounds are beautifully maintained and although the stairs are an aerobic workout, give quick & easy access to the beach. With Doogers just across the street, there's no worries about finding a great meal - breakfast, lunch or dinner, I've never been disappointed...the filet mignon is one of the best I've had!! It's a pleasant walk downtown to the shopping hub with even more restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops & the grocery store. Whether you walk on the sidewalks or the beach, it's a wonderful after-dinner interlude. This is a special place!

I haven't been to the Hallmark Resort for a while and plan to go back this year! I loved sitting out on the balcony and having seagulls fly by and eat out of my fingers! I loved the view of the beautiful coastline and The Haystack Rock, and I loved the fireplace in the room, and the walk into town along the beach, and the walk back from town along the sidewalk. In fact, I can't think of anything I did NOT like about The Hallmark Resort. I wish it were closer for me, so I could go more often!

The hotel room was adequate, but the bathroom was really not very clean. I understand it's hard to keep a room clean at a beachfront environment, but it can be done. The view was nice, the beach was beautiful, and the rangers on the beach were knowledgeable. We had a challenging time finding decent food.

If you have some good rates in the last half of Sept. Like you have told me about in years past I would like two rooms for three nites

The staff were great, the room immaculate and the location perfect. If it looks like this one is out of your price range, look at the rooms without a beach view, our room was in the back building and still had a very nice view of half of the beach.

I LOVED HOW PET FRIENDLY THEY WERE. ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP. RIGHT ON THE BEACH.

We go back any chance we get! The place is pet friendly, so the whole family can enjoy the view, location in town and tranquility of Cannon Beach.
