Great Value!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/25/09
This is one of the nicest places I ever stayed. The rooms are big and contain a kitchenette, safe, and a real closet. The soap is from Bath & Body Works. The decor is like a hunting lodge. A nice hot breakfast is included. Well worth the money!

Racist GM
By Bobby, 12/18/08
I am a 55 year old black man. It has been a long time since I have been as appalled as I was on a recent trip to Omaha. I had a complaint about the smell and bedding of my room. When the front desk person wasn't helpful, I asked to speak with their GM. A man, who I will never forget, named Bob Green came out shortly after I asked. He went on to tell me how recently they upgraded their units and everything should be new smelling. He went as far as to basically accuse me and my wife being the cause of the smell. He had to catch himself from almost finishing the sentence which started with. "Well, with the food you......", which I assumed would have ended with, ".....people eat". Instead of causing a scene, I asked to check out immediately. They couldn't have processed that any quicker. So for those of you who enjoy being treated as an equal, I would not recommend going there. If you do, be sure to say hi to my buddy Bob Green.

Love This Place!
By txchick, 06/13/08
My boyfriend and I took a weekend get away and stayed at the Regency Lodge and it was wonderful! The rooms were very clean and nicely kept. Huge kingsize bed, low noise level, hot tub a must, and the indoor swimming pool was heaven. The breakfast buffet was very good and plentiful. Overall we loved this place. He has lived in Omaha over 20 yrs and had never stayed there although he had driven by it a million times but we enjoyed it so much that we will definitely go back!

Do not stay here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/26/07
Two days after my wife and I stayed there we were charged a $200 fee for smoking in are room (neither of us smoke) when we called to inquire about this charge I was told there was nothing that could be done that obviously I was lying about not smoking. In addition to this the rooms were on par with the red roof inn we stayed at the next night and there were doors to the outside that were never sealed. We also made the mistake of ordering room service.....lets just say I've had a better reuben at Arby's, much better actually.

Not worth it!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/20/07
Our original room reeked of urine and cats. We were able to change rooms, several times actually due to noise, but even with that our room was noisy. Upon check-out there was an error in our bill that took a rather long time to resolve. I would never book a room there again!

I really wanted to like this hotel
By Steve H, 08/08/06
While this hotel is not a true lodge, I was impressed with the non-traditional look of the hotel. I liked the little touches and surprises found all around the hotel. there was even a bearprint on the sand of the ashtrays outside, very cute touch. The beds were very comfortable, but the pillows differed in comfort. Some were great, others felt like wood. Some of the office chairs leaned back while others were straight forward only. Only one part of the hotel is wireless, the rest is wired. Make sure you specify your preferences. The breakfast was the best I've seen in many hotels, very tasty. With all these things going for it, I really wanted to give a good report, however... I spent the first week struggling to get online in a wireless room. They suggested logging on in the lobby and then takign it to your room. I was only 3 rooms off the lobby. I had them calling their tech company almost everyday with very little results. I eventually changed rooms to a wired room after buying the needed adapter for my laptop. (yes it's that old) The connection there was great but in the second week they tested the fire alarms in the middle of the day twice. 1 1/2 hours the first day, about 20-30 minutes the next. I worked midnights while I was out there and this was impossible to sleep thru. I can understand any business having to stay within code by submitting to periodic tests. It was just unfortunate that i was there during their test. I was told they are looking for a different company to handle their LAN. The owner was very nice and got to know me by name. He spent a half hour with me tryign to help me gte connected wirelessly. He was always very apologetic about the issues. He had offered a free meal to compensate, The office manager offered a few free nights to compensate for all the troubles. Neither one panned out. I even mentioned it when I checked out. The attendant promised to look into it. As of this writing, my card has still not been credited. These offers were unsolicited and had they followed thru, I would have a very different impression of this hotel. But I will not be going back.

Conference goer
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/25/06
I was greeted with a friendly smile and check in and check out was a breeze. Our room was clean and ready for us. The conference rooms were prepared and well stocked at all times. I think the mouse in the business center needs to be replaced but am so thankful for the ability to check email etc. Food was fantastic. Coming back for sure.
