Fairmont Copley Plaza, Boston

I've always seen this hotel as I am from the area. Always noticing how well kept it is. I happen to attend a wedding here recently. Very clean throught out the premises. Staff seem willing to help needed. Being that I didn't stay in the hotel, I can not coment on the rooms personally, Although I have heard great things about the quality of stay here. I do however, recommend that you are careful if and when you decide to valet your car as I did. Upon my car being returned to me, I notice all my money was missing but other valuables were still in place. No broken windows? locks weren't damaged and $300 radio still intact and working...I wonder what could have happened to my personal funds? Bottom line. valet decided to help themselves to a $60 - $70 tip. I know most of you will say that valuables are not to be left in the car. I agree. I have a few issues about this. Even though it clearly states that they are not responsible for items left in the auto, (that's thier way for covering thier own butts) That doesn't mean the valet attendants can help themselves to a bag full of change. The bag wasn't missing, but the change was. That's why I valet the car in the first place and I actually gave the attendant a tip. Word of caution. Be careful when you valet.

The hotel was great. The room was great. The food was great. The pool was great. The service was great. I would stay here again.

The Fairmont Copley Plaza is the epitome of east coast, old world charm. The lobby is stunning with baroque guilding everywhere. The Oak Room is famous for its steaks and the blueberry and cranberry pancakes in the morning are not to miss! Within walking distance to world class shopping - be sure to have the pizza at Canestaro's and the crab at the Barking Crab. Fairmont quality and service you'd expect.

The Fairmont is in the heart of Boston, no need to have a car when staying here.

We absolutely LOVED this hotel and wish we could have stayed both there, and in the city of Boston longer than we did. There is so much to do and most of it is in walking distance from the hotel (with a metro stop very close by, just in case). This luxurious hotel was spectacular! The rooms were pristine, in cleanliness and comfort. The staff was helpful and friendly. We truly enjoyed this hotel and the entire city of Boston. We can't wait to go back to both!

I am glad that I send my friends to this hotel. There is no way to make a mistake. They will all be satisfied at the end of their visti to Boston. Believe me, all my friends come mostly from europe. Very demanding especially if they are Germans or Suiss. It is an excellent place to hang out and have a happy hour or even a steak at the oak bar. To the managers...Please guys! keep up with your service quality!

There are more modern and more hip hotels in Boston and there are better values, but the Fairmont is still my favorite. I love the older, historical feel of the hotel, the location and especially Boston's (IMHO) best (albeit a tad stuffy) hotel bar, the Oak room. Not terribly suitable for the kids, but a great option that is in a great location.

This place has atmosphere, and the most comfortable beds. The Oak Room is a fabulous place to eat or just have a drink. Staff is extremely courteous.
