Pleased With Stay
By Kentucky Family, 4/14/12
Stayed here because Marriott was booked. I was able to walk across the street to attend my conference. Not the best but very suitable for my purpose. Clean rooms. Nice staff. Left an item of clothing when we checked out, called several hours later and they had it. Would stay here again. Not top of the line but if you need a place just to sleep, this works. Room was probably a smoking room at one time. Did have a slight odor. Free wifi was a plus. Allowed a later check out because I was at a conference and my husband needed to stay longer until I was finished.

Don't expect to get any sleep!
By Stephanie, 4/6/08
Things to like: the bed was comfortable. The bathroom plumbing worked. Things not to like: We made came here because they claimed to be a Comfort Inn and participant in Comfort Privileges (loyalty program). Arrived 2 days after making res and they are neither--next AM the motel sign is changed to Downtown Inn. All 3 nights unable to sleep due to drunken partyers and thin walls between rooms. One night a woman next door was entertaining a gentleman and playing loud music until 4 AM then started calling up everyone she knew and yelling obscenities. Saturday nite several rooms were apparently taken by young people who invited about 20 friends to party all night. The ventilation system is very noisy. And this is not hotel's fault but bad weather delayed flights at a nearby airport the first evening. At midnight, all these planes took off every 2-5 minutes making a deafening noise as the flight path is over this motel. Delightful!

Not worth a dime
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/8/07
Me and two friends stayed one night at this hotel for a concert. We should of just paid a little extra to stay some where else. The walls were all stained and had marks all over it, the ironing board was completely stained, I was told we had internet access. And of course, we had none at all. The beds felt like bricks with a sheet on them. And the people at the desk were rather rude. I will say only one thing. The security was good. We had a drunk trying to get into the room next to use. We called security and it seemed like only seconds and they were there. Come to find out, the drunk wasn't even at the right hotel. But all in all, I would rather sleep in my car then stay at that hotel ever again.

Close to NightLife
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/7/05
The room is a little pricey to be a comfort inn but you can't beat the closeness to the nightlife. There are a lot of clubs and restaurants within walking distance. We'll definately be staying again.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/10/05
We we're in town for a bachelor party, hey it's a place to crash right? The room was clean the coffee was hot, and it's a short walk to the nightlife.Lookin for the Taj-mahal? choke up an extra $100 and stay at the Hilton, want a decent room where you have access to everything without taking out a loan? Stay here....;-)

very disappointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/16/05
My husband and I had a horrible stay changing rooms twice making it a rush to get to dinner reservations and still ended up coming back to a room with a faulty air conditioner. I am having a lot of trouble getting a refund or something to compensate for a miserable stay.

overpriced accomodations
By Wally, 4/19/04
This hotel is no longer a Travelodge. It is called the Downtown Inn, which is being remodeled. None of the remodeled room were finished, so we were stuck in a very old, poorly furnished room. During Thunder weekend they scalped the customers for $150.00 per night because there were no other rooms available in town. On any other occasion, I wouldn't pay more than $39.00 for this room. The only reason to stay here was because it was a close walk to the river.
