Wow where do I begin!! This was the worst,the most filthy hotel we have EVER stayed in! We searched along with the front desk manager and the housekeeping supervisor 9 rooms to find one that had a clean bed. A clean bed, thats all not asking much for $79 a night is it. In our search we found everything but...A CLEAN BED. We found pubic hair in a bed, we found bloody blankets and comforters, we found sheets that had been used as a tissue from someone's nose, we found sheets and blankets stuck together after what we assume was a clean up after some couple had relations, we found ants, we found spiders, we found wet used towles in so called "clean rooms",we found dirty used coffee cups set up as if they were ready for use by some un suspecting guest. The list goes on and on and the general manager and the hotel owner still will not return any calls. This hotel needs to be turned in to the health department.

I came back in early 2007 because on my previous visit, 12 years ago, this was a really nice hotel. Apparently the rooms have been unchanged in the intervening years. There was only lukewarm water from the shower, and the heating system was circa-1970. The wood panelling is atmospheric but combined with limited brass lamps makes for a rather dark room. Housekeeping was a bit hit-and-miss. The room has a coffee maker (no tea bags) but no refrigerator or mini-bar. Several website (including Yahoo) list "complementary transportation" or "hotel van" but this is untrue. The "free breakfast buffet" was especially disappointing - it was coffee and trays of mini-pancakes, eggs, bacon, and potatos. No toast, cereal, fruit, or yogurt. They charge extra for orange juice! The bar smelled of leaking sewage pipes. One of the front desk staff was really helpful but mostly not. The location is quite good and the price is low, but you definitely get what you pay for with this one.

Not boring! It was such a lovely and charming place to stay. The service was fantastic. There wasn't a hotel employee who wouldn't stop to help you at the drop of a hat. Value for the money? Unbelievable! Wait until you see the entire breakfast buffet that comes with your room.
